I can eat sweet gherkins out of the jar like candy. On a burger, they're nasty, vile stuff.

Gherkins are meant to be whole or sliced in half and eaten by themselves. Sliced on a burger they are disgusting. Regular Hamburger Dill Chips are awesome on burgers.

McDonalds is disgusting anyway.... if I have to eat fast food and I want a burger I prefer Whataburger or Backyard Burger.

With that being said. I like any pickle as long as it is not sweet. Even on a burger. I especially love drinking the pickle juice when the jar is finished off. Tasty!

I love Gherkins.. I ate a whole jar for lunch for one of my 5 a day last week.

I love the juice on chips.. When I was a kid, the local chippy offered used gherkin and onion vinager as well as malt vinagar to put on your fish and chips.... Sooooooo nice.. Mmmm I want some NOW!!

I always have a jar of gherkins in the fridge. Sadly my kids love them too, and I rarely get a look-in.

I have never understood the British idea of having vinegar on your fish and chips. Lots of salt and tomato sauce is the only way. I also don't get mushy peas...
