I am the only one in this house that doesn't eat pickles or hot peppers, guess I will never find anyone of the same mind.

Your not alone. My husband HATES pickles. Of any kind. I'm not sure about peppers, but I dont think hes a fan of them. He doesnt like Supreme Pizza for the Bell Peppers. I love it. And black olives. I buy the Vlasic sandwich stackers sometimes to,...well,..put on my sandwiches. I LOVE sweet gherkins. For some reason they always make me think of Dirty Dancing. lol,..I'm not nuts, if youve seen the movie, you know what scene I'm talking about. I used to be able to go thru an entire jar of Kosher Dill Spears in a week, if not less. My MIL got me started on sweet gherkin and peanut butter sandwiches.

McDonalds is ok for some things. I like the Fruit and Yogurt Parfait, and the Premium Chicken Sandwich is pretty good. It all depends on what you get there. They've upped their game in the way of offering more nutritious options.

Whats this, Digital Food School?

I'm with Bruce, the Gherkins were great fighters and proud members of the Allied forces in many wars. Unlike the MacDonalds who's only claim to fame was Mel Gibson with a blue face.

Cheers,

John W

PS: there's nothing like hot chips, tomato sauce or a bit of Cornwalls Vinegar. As kids, we used to buy half a loaf of bread from the bakery, eat out the middle and tip in the chips and drown in vinegar all for one shilling and sixpence.

Ooooh.. Who mentioned Chillis???? I grow Scotch Bonnets in my garden each year, chop 'em up and freeze them and use them as a seasoning when the food needs perking up..

I was in London last weekend, and came home with a suitcase full of Nandos Extra Extra Hot Peri Peri sauce... Now THAT is something that needs to go on chips young Kiwi Lassie! Mmmmmmm.... Nandos!!!
