Knowing apple (and the rest of the world (but mostly apple)), I wouldn't be surprised if they really starting making that.

"Wasn't trying to get anyone to fall for anything, I'm making a joke about Apple and fauxtographers."

That was his comment.

Sorry if I offended anyone but I just couldn't help sharing this, especially that part where he answered a call.

Dont joke too hard: Thom Hogan has been clamouring for a 3G or wifi enabled camera for years. Maybe not to text or make phone calls, but to be able to send photos online, or provide apps.

Imagine: instead of a "Panorama" mode, you have an "app" that does that. Instead of a video mode, you have a "video" app, or you can download a different kind of video from a different app. Need high-speed video? Download a new app. Want a built-in HDR? Download a new app.

Wouldnt put it past them.

That would actually make sense in the form of software upgrades. If they made cameras with upgradeable software using something like,...idk,.micro SD cards for memory? Like they do phones, that would be pretty damn neat. Don't tell me you wouldnt buy a camera that had all the normal capabilities of a pro level DSLR and the ability to download new features to it. If every camera came with a Micro SD reader/adapter, and you just download from the website to the SD card, then pop it back in the camera. No wifi needed on camera itself.

A good laugh. I liked when he said - "you don't even need to know anything about photography, just press a button!"
Sound familiar?
