No decided there might be too many variables and have bought Canon 600D twin lens kit. Looking forward to using it!

Kewl. Congrats on the new gear and enjoy it! I think you probably made the right choice--a lens has to be something pretty extraordinary to make it worth the pain of adapting, and it doesn't sound like either of those would have been nicer than what you've purchased.

Have had a friend's Canon 60D to try out, so almost slumming it with the 600D. Just been outside to take my first shots with MY Canon :-) Overcast day but think they'll be OK - just some odd flowers in the garden. Can't wait to upload them :-)
