Default Meh

Alright, WTF is a MEH?

I know what a WTF is. But I have absolutely no idea what a MEH is and I see it cropping up regularly here.

Please fill me in with this new fad expression.

Cheers,

John W

It's not an acronym. It's just "meh..." as in, "whatever, not impressed".

I think it's a Basque separatist movement.

Ah ha just found it:

The origins of "meh" are murky, but the term grew in popularity after being used in a 2001 episode of The Simpsons in which Homer suggests a day trip to his children Bart and Lisa.

Well so much for getting 82% for English language in the Leaving Certificate. I never learnt that.

I'll have to start expressing my self like Photography.

Cheer,

John W

I'm sure you'll see terms like "herp derp" or simply "derp" around soon as well. its a term we teens use as a "of course"/"No sh*t"/"DUH!" synonym.
