Default Chicks with Guns Photo Book

?Chicks with Guns?: 15 million US women pack heat - TODAY People - TODAY.com

I like the idea behind it. A couple of the photos arent that compelling to me, though. ( I didnt post this to be a controversy, so I dont want to hear all the "That's-what's-wrong-with-this-Country." Bull Sh!t. From anyone. American or not. Besides, its mostly about hunting. )

So, what do you think about it?

Would you mind hearing that's what is RIGHT with this Country?

It is interesting that the title says 15 million women pack heat and then the majority of photos depict women with rifles. There were a few revolvers in there, although I seriously doubt those are their carry guns. I mean really, where's she gonna conceal that .44 Magnum?

Firearm ownership is going up for women in this Country and not only so that the gun can sit in a nightstand drawer either. Women are carrying and shooting competitively. Still a male dominated industry... but our numbers are growing.

As far as the photos go.... meh.... they're alright, but really they are just pretty women holding guns. I'd much rather see photos of them actually firing them.

I think that is awesome.I learned to shoot early, Got my first shotgun when I was 5. I remember going hunting with my dad a lot and it was some of the only time I ever got to spend with him.

I remember going to a shooting competition with my dad when I was 17. There were 10 matches, My dad won 6 and I won 4 and they asked us not to come back anymore cause it wasn't fair to the other contestants.

Needs more girls in American flag bikinis holding assault rifles, IMO.

No,..I wouldnt mind. I'd agree with you. I have no qualms about guns,...but I myself prefer knives. My father was a cop, and I remember him cleaning his gun. He still has them in the house, and I remember finding the .22 Rifle in his closet when I was little. He's always been into knives though, and I think thats where I get it from. I keep a knife in my purse, and two in my car. I also know how to use my own wet stone for sharpening. I want a set of throwing knives and a folded Katana too. I have a butterfly, but don't know how to properly open it. I just never practiced with it. The throwing knives and sword I would though.

+1. In the words of several fictional supervillians, Guns are too quick.
Plus swords are just bitching cool.
Big fan of archery too.

It's a market but do women who own guns want to buy photo books of other women holding guns?

It's a genuine question - I understand men buying books on guns and especially half naked girls holding guns (Rentham!), but men trend to the more obsessive about technical aspects rather than women. As such, pictures of steam trains, guns, cars, etc. have a valid market amongst males, but is it similar for women and guns?
