I guess some jerk tipped her off that we were laughing about her friends photos and she wants it deleted. that's the only thing i could think of since i had to look through 10 pages to find it. but i told her id have it deleted for her. She didn't think it was funny. I deleted my comment about the photos but i cannot delete the whole thing.

she didn't post them. they were her friend who posted them. and it was her wedding. so she doesn't want people picking on her photos. I said i would tell the admin to delete it.

You know, I think 3Bay has got a point.. We're here to learn about photography, not bully random people. It was the brides special day, let's not spoil it with our pettiness. If the photos have been taken down, then perhaps the lesson was learned anyhow.. Let's not turn this forum into something bad.

I'm in agreement that I think the whole thread should be deleted, plenty of other silliness to laugh about without hurting people who don't deserve it.

I don't think they asked to be reviewed, they didn't post on this forum, they shared with their friends on Facebook as far as I remember, they just wanted to share their special day with their friends, not a whole community of wannabe photographers.

Freedom of speech is all very well, but it doesn't mean we have to be bullies, and it doesn't mean we can't occasionally hold our hands up and say "Ok, fair enough, let's take that back for the sake of allowing someone to enjoy their lives"..

Otherwise what we become is Trolls, looking for the next hapless person who's doing no harm, wanting to share their special moments, who just happens to be a worse photographer than us.

I don't mind bringing people down a peg or two who portray themselves to be professionals, who clearly aren't, but I want nothing to do with random bullying of innocent people.. I've removed my comments from that thread.

^^ I agree. I just take the on the fence approach, it doesn't bother me either way so whatever the admin pops up decides is fine with me
