Default Stairway to Heaven

This past Saturday was a special day. The extended family participated in a Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Climb for Life to support and raise money for research. My grandson has this terrible disease and so far has been healthy. A total of $72k was raised at this event. We climbed this...
Climb for Life 2011- Dallas

The entire family completed all 70 stories. The two oldest, yours truely being one of them, completed with the fastest times in the family. Those stinking youngesters are not going to beat me...yet. I completed in 19min. 41 seconds. Not bad for a 49 year old, chubby smoker. Thank goodness I do exercise on the side. The winning male time was 10 min and change. Some local fire fighters participated wearing full turn out gear and air packs. As proof of my completion here is a view from the top.

Thanks Tito. Both are just quick snaps. Gotta love that boring sky! Take a look at the second one. Looks like a Bridge to Nowhere. All those lanes of traffic coming in from the right and going where? Maybe they are going to build more road on the left side before the bridge is completed.

First of all, I want to offer my thoughts for you that you actually actually have to go through something like this with a family member! I hope he continues to stay healthy and happy!
Good thing for you to do as well! That is some pretty good coin raised! Congratulations on that.
On a side note! I am glad to know there is hope for us overweight smokers!

Edit: For some reason, I like exclamation points......
