Friday Rant

Two festivals are happening in two separate (but close together) cities, this week. On one city, there'll be multitude of events happening on different locations that sometimes cross each other's schedules. At the same time, the other city will have nicely scheduled event held in one place, but also happens at the same time frame.

Both cities have very interesting things happening and I made it a point to run back and forth on both cities tonight, Saturday, and Sunday. I spent the whole Wednesday night (literally no sleep) organizing my itinerary so I can make it on time with all the events I'm keen to take photographs of. It was overwhelming but I managed.

Come Friday and it's 3:30 pm. Events will start at 6 pm. I need about 2 hours to travel to the first city so I'm rushing all my work today...

Then I just checked my google calendar and they're all blank. Caput! No events at all! On top of that, the website where I needed to recheck the programs' schedules are down.

I just checked google and found out it's not uncommon. And it's still unresolved. Lesson learned the hard way: don't rely on google calendar.

... now back to work.

Not sure this qualifies as a rant, more like a whine. You need to push the outrage slider up to at least a 9 to be a decent rant.

Nah.. 9 just gets you into winge territory.. It doesn't make a decent rant unless one person at least disagrees with you. You really need to push the boat out for a rant...
