Default How not to take shots of pregnant women

These are hilarious! My favorite is the guy dunking the "basketball!"

Haha, what is it about pregnancy that makes otherwise competent photographers get some weird-ass ideas?

Not linking to it because that would be rude. But a woman in my flickr group who is a professional photographer recently posted a photo of a pregnant belly with a massive question mark painted on it.

What's with the pregnant naked lady, the tire, & her fully dressed significant other? Well executed, but...weird.

The only photo I have of my pregnant belly was the evening before I went in to have my son, my daughter & I posed for a photo - her last day as an only child But I was fully dressed in the photo & I can honestly say it has never occurred to me to take a photo of my pregnant NAKED belly *shudder* no-one needs to see that!

But all you have to do is paint a question mark on it to make it art!

Hahaha! That reminds me, at the time I was trying to have my son (a long drawn-out affair) there was another woman in the hospital with a large, overdue baby as well. A friend of hers was a body paint artist and he had fully painted her belly with the kid from Rugrats, undoing a zip and climbing out. It made the front page of the local paper and everything!

Love the basketball one. That's the only one that's more funny than awkward.

I'm also part of a pregnancy/parenting forum. One woman posted her belly shots, one of which she was laying in the middle of the road right on the yellow line.

Pregnant road kill anyone?

Apparently not.. The big naked belly also needs to be blurry... And apparently would look better in HDR..

Wednesday rant..

I think I'm going to have a hard time scrubbing that image from my brain!
