With the risk of sounding like a hippy Relax and Smile guys, lets hear some Good news!

Here's my good news:

It's going to be 27 degrees Celsius (80 F) on Friday which is perfect weather for an end of summer BBQ and jam with my band. (And for you warm climate dwellers, 27 degrees is freaking HOT for the end of September round these here parts )

Then on Saturday I'll be presenting an award at the Calgary Beer Core's 5th Annual awards night which means free admission to a fun show and at least one free shot of some new JD Whiskey type product (are the details even important if its free?)

You're in Calgary? Then you can go to Banff anytime you want! That would make me smile.

I submitted an entry to the Horizons assignment that has received some great feedback, so I feel good about that.

Also, I'm 2-0 in my fantasy football league and I have the highest scoring team (thank you Tom Brady!).

Poor Jim - you have to watch the Mariners too!
