Since joining I've noticed that they do not do a good job at all in keeping up the front page of the web site. It always seems way out of date.

Also, the Weekly Assignment Winners are DIFFICULT to find without going into the Winners Thread and clicking on the link Wulf posted. There should be a working link up there in the Quick Links drop down (or somewhere else on that links bar) to take you there; it seems ridiculous to have to go find a thread, open it and click on the link from there. I really enjoy reading the "From The Forums" each week finding out what the top 3 photos were and if they were the ones I would have picked, I just hate having to hunt around for it every week.

Yeah, it's a little difficult. They always post the winners in "This Week In", if that helps any?

That's what I always do. At first it wasn't much of a bother. But at least if the first 2 long posts would be edited/deleted to make it a bit easier, I'd be happy with that. I'm usually stuck on forums page anyway.

Just a FYI. I write the "This Week posts" but I have absolutely no control over the "latest assignment winner" on the front page. That's not something I'm able to access or change. In any case, another way to find the winners posts is this link: From the Forums

Nicole, if it weren't for the link you and Wulf provided, I would not be able to find the contest winners. Can you ask if a link can be put on the home page? It seems like the most logical place to place the link is right under the picture of the latest winner. Otherwise, I couldn't figure out how to navigate to the winners.

LOL, I've been noticing that, too. When was the 'Zoom while shooting' assignment, anyway? A month ago?
If it's not Nicole, then who is in charge of changing that page?!

Nicole and other site publishers, won't have direct control over the front page. The latest winner article tagged with "From the Forums" will get bumped off the front page as new content items (articles) get published.

The posted link is the best way to find it. DPS could make a point of putting it somewhere that we can find it easily though... Thoughts?

Maybe include it in your own signature?
