Default Buying used gear from Adorama online

I have found an interesting offer for a used camera on the Adorama site.
The camera is rated E- (some cosmetics issues as they indicate) but doesn't give any information on the actual camera (shutter count, for example).

I like the price of that camera, even considering the shipping and handling all the way to where I live but I'm not quite sure about it. It may turn out that it's not a great deal anymore.

So, my question is, does anyone has experience in buying used equipment from Adorama? do they offer some kind of warranty?

Any information that you may have will be much appreciated.

Regards

I got my EF 100-300mm lens from them, no complaints on my end. Their used equipment comes with a 90-day warranty (fairly standard for used and refurbished equipment). Looking through their return policy I don't see any exceptions for returning their used equipment, though you may just drop them a line and ask first for clarification.

AFAIK Adorama and B&H are around the most reputable outlets for used gear. Not necessarily the cheapest of course, but if I ran into problems I'd rather be dealing with them over an eBay/Paypal account.

not sure about them. never bought used from them. But I agree with Ceremus. Drop them a line or call em up and see what the return of used equipment policy is. Couldn't hurt...

You are most welcome to email me directly and I can get some pictures plus the shutter count emailed to you.

All used units D, V, E+, E & E- now come with a 6-month warranty, which includes a 30-day returns period, if it simply doesn't suit you!

I hope this helps - you can contact me: Helen@adorama.com
