Question How do I delete my account?
Hey I was wondering how I could delete my DPS Forum account?
I'm really not on it at all, and while this site is helpful I'm not part of the forum really so I just want to delete it. How do I do that?

just don't log in anymore and you don't have to worry about it.

i do not believe that is a user function here like it is on other forums. I think it is an admin only function. You might try sending an email to Darren Rowse or Sime.

Here's the thing, if you delete your account, which you're right, you can't do yourself, all your posts also get removed, leaving holes in conversations and potentially deleting whole threads.

If you really don't want your account anymore, why not just delete your profile photo and remove any personally identifying information from your profile, and then change your password to some random set of characters without writing it down. Then you won't have access to your account which pretty much serves the same function. Afterall, part of the forum is that it's more conversational, so unless there's something terrible in your posts, I'd personally just stop logging in. But that's just me. Otherwise, email Sime or Saralonde.

Why do you want to leave? You can just continue as you are,and if the need ever arises, you can count on the people at DPS to help you out.
