Isn't buying software second hand Pirating? You may be able to buy a disk but you will never be able to update the software. You would need a code for that, & essentially, that is what you are paying for. The users code. I would never buy software off of E-Bay for this reason.

That would be my suggestion. You can sometimes find deals on the internet but you need to be careful. I would go to the manufacturers website & try to find a list of reputable dealers of their software. Then hunt around for a deal.

First - Take a deep breath.
I know it's exciting when you start off on this exciting, and potentially expensive hobby. But I wouldn't run out and buy Photoshop right off. It is a very expensive and complecated piece of software. If you are a photograpghy Noob, then take some time learning your camera. Alot of people who start off, even with nice expensive DSLRs, use the green (Auto) setting on the camera, take snap shots and never edit their photo's. I'm not saying that you'll never get to the point where you'll want photoshop, but based on your questions about getting it on the cheap, seem to indicate that your resources are limited, and perhaps better put to other things first. Like some nice lenses. The nice thing about adobe products is that you can download many/any of them and use them free for 30 days before you decide to but them. Many folks start off with much cheaper consumer products such as adobe elements.
