Default Glee Domestic Abuse Photos Controversy

Glee Domestic Abuse Photos Controversy - YouTube

My response... is I think the photographer and model/actress is trying to portray the character the actress plays on Glee, which is a dumb blonde bimbo.

Just look at your source.

As an aside: anyone that looks at any kind of creative output and says nothing but "No, it's crap" is not qualified to comment on said creative output.

I do agree with you, but the guy had a point about some modern art. He could very well have taken a dump on the desk and snootily said "It is for you to interpret" or some other derogatory statement to make one feel less inteligent.

I personally don't see anything wrong with the shots. It does not strike me as promoting domestic violence. I think they were out looking for attention.

Weird way to portray this actress (never watched Glee so don't know anything about her or her character), but then again stuff like this always has a bazillion ways to be interpreted. One person will think it's cool & another will find it extremely offensive. The photos are well-lit...so no technical criticism there. I do think the photos are strange...especially the ones with the iron. But that's just MHO. Art/photography is always open to subjective interpretation.

It may not be my cup o' tea, but someone else will eat it up.

Let them question your vision but never your color. The images are spot on and they invoked an emotion which makes them winners in my book.

I'm not getting in to the "Is it art?" debate, but.............
"I iron my balls everyday. Keeps them from being wrinkled. Plus I like a crease." This Youtube comment cracked me up!
