Default Playlist while editing?

So, just curious....

Do you listen to a specific playlist, CD (album), etc. while doing any editing...

Putting one together and looking for ideas...

Angels and airwaves, nickel back, Bruce Springsteen, The soundtrack from halo, anything Irish, and whatever Pandora throws my way.

It's on shooting sessions that I need a huge playlist. I need to filter every noise of the world.

Enigma, Alborada and the likes of them, some of Anggun's songs, a few Gregorian Chants, a couple of ERA, and a lot of cultural music. But just to annoy me once in a while, some random Lady Gaga.

Editing: Nothing but the songs of insects (night), birds (early morning), and machines (daylight), outside my window. I can easily block them out when I'm on my solitary cell.

Not really a playlist: Classic Rock or Classical music for me.

No, I mostly watch tv while I am editing. But I do have a special playlist for working out and for cleaning the house.....it is fast paced and keeps me moving.

I have about 200G of music. I set mine for random and let it fly. Most of mine is classic rock stuff. And then an occasional Tupac thrown in there

While editing, I listen to Pandora. It's a lot easier than playing disks. Sometimes I have it set to Irish music, classic rock, or contemporary Christian. Just depends on my mood at the time.

Thanks for the replies and input, everyone.... I appreciate it.

I listen to pandora, quite often, while I am in my car..so, I want a change of pace when I edit..

Thanks, Nicole.
Question, you watch TV and edit at the same time? ...wow! I would go nuts trying to do that... Thanks for the playlist link! I might just have to borrow a couple of these.

I mostly watch TV while editing, too. Reruns, things I've seen a hundred times that just provide familiar and comforting background noise. If I'm really into a show I don't do any post processing while watching because I can only focus on one thing or the other.

But sometimes I need something a little different and put some music on. My taste is all over the place, country, alternative rock, classic rock, even show tunes. Right now I'm really into Adele and Foster the People.
