Printing directly from SD wifi card

Here is what I would like to do.
I want to be able to use a wifi sd card to send photos directly to a wifi printer and have them print automatically.
I need to shoot pictures at a book signing (author with fan) and have the photo's print instantly so the author can sign them and give them to people.
Has anyone tried to do this or have this equipment and can try it out before I spend the cash on the wifi card and printer.

you might need a netbook to link the two. you normally have to put printer drivers on whatever you are printing from.
