I've noticed that a few people on here (including me!) have some 'broken' albums on their albums page, on their profile page.
It's like this. You can see the album there, but their is no cover picture on it. When you click on it, it just takes you to a page that shows other people's 'recently updated albums.' There's no way to upload pictures to your album, or to even delete it, because it always takes you to this same page. I have three albums that are like this. Has anyone else noticed this?! And is there anything that the moderators/administrators can do about it? It's a little strange.

![]() I really think someone should try to do something to fix this problem, if it's possible. So, is there anything that you can do to fix this problem, moderators?

I think in another recent thread someone said they are working on it.

Nope, we can't actually do anything with / to / about the broken albums at the moment. That doesn't mean it's not being worked on (it is), it's just that they're just as broken to us as they are to you and there are no moderator controls until you get down to the picture level of things (at least not that I can find).

Do you know what causes some albums to be 'broken'? Sometimes it happens to them, and sometimes it doesn't. It's kind of strange.

Honestly, I really do hope we find a fix soon.
![]() And I have no idea what causes them to be broken. My first guess was going to be "non-standard" characters like what causes problems for users trying to reach their profile pages (if you have a space or punctuation in your user name there's a good chance the "smart" URLs won't let you get to your profile). But I just had a look at your albums and your have one called "Nature Photos" with no problems, so there goes that theory... maybe it's just server gremlins ![]() I really wish I knew though. Does anyone know if it's happening to new albums as well or just older albums?

Hopefully, sometime you'll figure out a way to fix them. I just thought that maybe the moderators or administrators could delete these defective albums or something, but I guess not. Too bad.All of my albums that are like this became that way as soon as I made them. I didn't know it could happen to older albums, too.

Well, it's helpful to know that it happens with new albums too. Fingers crossed we get it sorted soon. I know it's a useful feature (especially if people don't want to use Flickr or another site).
