Hi all
Complete newbie to DSLR and after advice as have cash burning hole in my wallet I have just pruchased a Nikon D7000 with the Nikon 18-200 lense, bag, tripod etc I am looking at purchasing the Nikon SB900 speedlight and wondering if it can work as a remote flash from the camera or i need other items for it to work this way I have seen in video's that there is a lead you use to hold the flash in your hand and take photos, so this is why i am asking about the remote side of the camera and flash I have tried searching through different forums on here about this but could not find anything about it Looking forward to advise and being a active member here on this forum David

Yes, the SB900 can be used as a master and a slave unit.
