I wouldn't care too much, but I always make a photo album for Sebastian (MY SON) once a year thru shutterfly and without these, I can't.. Any help would be great!! Thanks

go to your recycle bin and choose to restore them

if you havne't turned off your computer chose to restart in last known good start. not sure if that is worded right, but you should be able to roll your computer back in a sense.

Yes, definitely check your recycle bin first. Depending on how many you deleted, it may have bypassed the Recycle Bin entirely, though. I'm guessing you probably didn't have shadow copies or a redundant backup of any sort...

If they AREN'T there, then first of all, try not to write any new files to the hard drive, if possible. Second, I'll recommend what I recommended to Amber: PhotoRec (PhotoRec - CGSecurity). It's definitely a last resort, as your file names and structures will be gone, but the photos themselves should all be recovered, along with the EXIF data.

Sorry to hear this, and I wish you luck.

Unfortunately that won't do any good. That won't affect any of your personal files; it basically rolls back driver updates, software installations, and that sort of thing. General file modifications and such won't be affected.

That Amber chick,..Yeah, that'd be me. This program worked, but I had to let it run for 2 days straight. And part of a third. You can still use the computer in this time, but if you do this, make sure that you dont shut the computer off, dont let it do auto restarts after updates, or go into sleep mode until the recovery program is finished. And it will find damn near everything that you've ever looked at on the internet. It was a huge PITA and if it hadn't been for Kevin's help, I'd probably still be sorting files and trying to figure it all out.

OMG! Thankfully, my computer was my own, and no one else used it. Theres no telling what kind of porn that wouldve popped up if my husband had used it too.

Default out of luck, I guess,,

Storage bin is empty, I've uploaded som new photos to my computer since then.. Computer has been shut down and restarted.. Maybe I should call a computer doctor.. Computer OS says I have 173 GB free of 218 GB.. Used to say I had 71 GB free of 218.. Was planning to buy a external hard drive to protect photos, but haven't had the money to do so yet.. Anyone gotta gun? (just joking)

Why is it always the husband?? You're basically saying that you ( or women in general ) don't look at porn...go ahead deny it..
