... for photography gear!
Here is mine with just the basics that I'll need to start my wedding photography. I will be starting out doing 3 - 4 free weddings to get a portfolio together before I can start charging and then I will be using film (Nikon F5 and Mamiya 645AFD 80mm f/2.8) Here is my Nikon gear wish list which I will be purchasing through out 2012. Wish List | B&H Photo Video ps im not including memory cards, batteries, lens hoods, and other trivial things on my wish list.

I'm so desparate for the 24-70 2.8 and 70-200 IS. I am sure that my phography skills will improve with proper more expensive kit! I'm fed up with crap stuff

On my near future list is the 70-200mm f/2.8 VRII to replace my old push pull. However, after my photography expenditure over the past twelve months the near future is not so near methinks

I've been stuck with my kit lens since I'm still a poor student. Next up is a 55-250mm. Actually I'll get it after the 8th of September since I'll reward myself for finishing my MSc dissertation with the lens (and the 8th is the deadline)
On the "won't be able to afford it for years" side of the wish list is a macro lens *sigh*

as an aside, could you post some samples when you get that combination? I'm a bit curious as to how the 18-200 performs on a d7000

It's an extremely versatile lens especially suited to travel or those times when you don't want to carry a bunch of lenses. Not the fastest since 5.6 is the largest apeture after 18mm, but the VRII addition helps compensate for this. I've used mine a lot both on the D90 and the D7000.
