Default Earthquakes

not much sleep last night after being hit with 11 earthquakes. so far, the biggest one has been 5.5
I'm in Colorado so earthquakes are not a common occurrence here. Kinda strange

The last earthquake I remember hitting near here was in '85 (IIRC) when a 5.5 earthquake between Laramie and Casper, WY did a little bit of damage to a building in Golden.

Just looked at the USGS fault map. I didn't realize CO was as riddled with fault lines as it is! Looks like your area gets hammered when it does happen! Hope everybody is ok!

Earthquakes are so unsettling. Hope the earth calms down soon, windrider.

lol, bears. We have sooo many bears that actually come into town and walk down the main street. They walk inot stores and cause quite a stir.
It's so dry here this year that they have no food in their natural environment and come into town to look for food.

Something is going on here now. The girlfriend of a guy I work with just called and said they were feeling what they think were tremors in Kernersville NC. Also the same thing in Walkertown. Both towns are about 30-35 miles from here. Weird!

There was just a considerable one in VA that was apparently felt all the way up here in CT. I didn't feel it, but our local newspaper just posted on FB that their building shook, and I'm only about a mile or so from them.
