Default I've got two new babies!

I've got two new kittens! They are 9 weeks old. A girl and boy both black and white. Their names are Suzie and Leo. They are so adorable. I haven't had a chance to take a pics yet as they only got delivered at 7.30 pm and so they spent the evening sniffing around and exploring their new surroundings. My kids are at their Grandma's until Thursday so it'll be a nice surprise for them when they come home.

My hubby isn't all that sold on the idea of having 3 cats in the house but after nearly 20 years together he knows that I get my way in the end lol!

LOL! What is is about cats and cribs. I always thought that was a bit of an old wives tale about the cat climbing into the baby's crib but alas you have the "proof" that tells me otherwise.

Having these kittens feels like taking a newborn home from the hospital for the first time. Like eeek why is she/he crying?? What's the matter?? I'm even fretting about their next feeding time like should I feed them before going to bed so that they sleep through the night lol!

If only newborns were as easy as kittens. I just had to feed him, clean his litter box and make sure he dosen't chew on electrial cables. No late night feedings, cat jumps up on the bed and annoys me I can just close the bedroom door.

Oh Dear...my adopted older cat was NOT impressed last night at the invation of the pitter patter of tiny paws She was growling and hissing and turned her back on me and gave me the cold shoulder treatment. Ah she'll get over it!

That's why I like my snake. Throw in a mouse every week and she's happy. No hissing, meowing, begging to go out, pooping in the corner or trying to foist it off on someone when I'm gone on vacation for a week. She's fine in the house alone.
