Sadly I cannot use memcards that big with my 5d
So, anyone who considers this, make sure your camera can handle it.

Fat32 can format partitions as large as 32GB so why not? I believe I have a 32 for my 5D Mark II.

I have the MkI.. so as far as I read it can't handle it.. though I'd be happy to be wrong!

Did some quick searching and there are a few people out there using 32GB cards with the 5d. You just won't be able to fully utilize the speed of that particular card in the camera.

Thats a lot of photos to potentially risk if something happens to the card. I rather use a few 8gig or 4gig cards instead so all my eggs are not in one basket so to speak.
