Default My new toy.

So I'm on vacation right now in northwest washington state. My Grandma was going to take us to some water falls and I wanted to get some longer exposures. The only filter I have is a polarizer, no ND filter. Well it turns out that there are no decent camera stores within a 30 mile radius. I finally got my grandpa to drive me there. Well I was waiting for the one guy at the counter, I wandered to the used case. Well guess what I found? A canon AE-1, 50mm 1.8, and a rather nice lether case for $30!

Needless to say, right now I'm rather happy

Oh you dog you! Congrats on the find!

What store did you go to? I lived in Seattle before moving to LaLaLand.

We are staying in Lyden which is a bit outside Bellingham.(farm county, you already heard about the tractor. And I'm loving the barns)

Anyway it's in Bellingham, it's a hole in the wall that has an amazing amount of stuff. It's called quicksilver lab and the people are great.(I'm contemplating moving the title of "best camera shop staff" to them from my local shop.) He and I ended up chatting camera history for half an hour. The only Problem is that it's on the dock side of Bellingham. AKA we got to drive across the city(including downtown) on monday morning. - not my smartest idea ever

So there's my long boring vacation story
