Default Trouble posting

I apologize if this is not the proper place for my inquiry. However, there's no header regarding tech questions.

Hoping someone can help with this situation. A mod, SwissJon maybe? I've been around some time & never had this issue before. I tried posting a picture & the exif data to the latest assignment, & it won't allow me. This is the error message I get:
  1. The text that you have entered is too long (39673 characters). Please shorten it to 20000 characters long.
I've tried making my photo medium sized at first (371x500) with the only text being the date taken along with the exif. It spit out the error message, so I tried the smaller sized pic (178x240). Never had an issue before today. I've tried reloading it, opening a new window after closing it, etc. I am still getting the same message. Is anyone else having this problem too?

Hi,
Don't copy and paste out of word It adds a LOT of garbage to your text...

OR, if you're not... take the text you're entering and paste it into notepad, then copy it from there and paste it into dPs...

Awesome!

Yeah, MSO stuff can be quite long if you look at it in html view [when posting there's an option to see the html] a note, if you paste from Word etc, you can sometimes click the 'clear formatting' button when you paste into dPS, or simply paste to notepad => dPS

I was using Word for some other stuff I was working on yesterday. Figuring that since it was already in use, I'd just copy & paste from there. Silly me! LOL I won't make that mistake again!

Thanks again, Sime. It didn't dawn on me that MS Word was the problem until you mentioned it. I'll just go back to my normal way of adding the exif data.

I know you're not a mod, Jon,. But you are a computer geek! :-) I figured you might know the answer too.
