Default Photography as a money making venture..

Well today I made my first bit of money out of photography..

The Nikon 80-200 2.8 I bought second hand for $400 I just sold for $450 on fleabay..

Now what lens can I get for $25? (That's after paying Fleabay their cut!)

Suggestions??

Buying and selling equipment on eBay is the only way you can make money in photography these days.

Either that, or creating and selling actions/presets/textures and doing workshops, lol.

I've purchased almost all my equipment on the used market and have sold about 9 or 10 lenses that way and have always made a few bucks on each. I have a friend that actually does this as a way of funding his photo addiction. He buys stuff on Craigslist in NYC where the market is very competitive and he can buy low, then he sells it on Craigslist in NJ where the market is smaller and he can get better pricing. It has worked out very well for him.
