Default Camera Damage on Motorcycle

I have a new DSLR and was planning on taking it with me on a two week tour on my bike. However, I've begun to worry about excessive vibration and how it might harm the camera. Does anyone have experience with traveling on a bike with a camera or know of someone who has? I don't want to ruin a new, expensive camera by haulin' it around on my Harley.

Don't take it on your Harley.. It'll break it! (Your Harley I mean!)
