Default Ok, so what do you think of my writing style?

If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm kind of obsessed with this blogging thing right now..(It doesn't help that I took the day off to spend with my freshly refurbished camera which arrived un-repaired, so I'm kinda bored too.)

So, I've written a couple blog posts and I'd like some honest feedback.
What do you think of my "style"?
Is the "gear post" just "more of the same"?
The "feel" of the posts is what I think I'm going for overall. Does it "work"?
Is it "entertaining"?

What could I do better?

Yes, I am asking you to "click thru" to "my site" and read "my stuff". Please do, I would really appreciate some honest feedback.

Good start sk66. You have aroused my interest in custom rifle stock with a red dot scope, is it for real? Is the camera mounted on a rifle stock?. The second post about kit and gadgets. I am a gadget junkie my self, and no I don't want to be cured. I can live with my no sense of guilt. I pick up and borrow gadgets friends have bought and do not use, buy a gadget my self when cash flow allows. Target shooting and hunting being my other pursuits almost always cause competition for any spare cash. Great stuff, now just to register with 500px and I can leave a comment at your blog.

Thanks!
Yes, the custom rifle stock and red dot sight are for real. The camera mounts to a collapsible Tapco rifle stock originally meant for an AK.....material for another blog post I think.

Digging the blog. Both stories kept my interest. If geared to photographers, then spot on. If geared to the general public, then modify the tech/lingo?

Great start, sk66! :-) I can relate to your swallows story. We have humming birds. However, as soon as I point my camera in their direction, they disappear. :-( Birds can be frustrating to photograph.

Yes, it's meant for other photographers, but it is an interesting point. I could minimize the acronyms/techy bits and make it more accessible to both general public as well as amateur photographers who might not quite get those points...

Thanks!

I like it. Casual, chatty and entertaining.
The swallow posing on the log it gorgeous.

Ain't blogging fun? Checking the site stats has become my addiction.

And I do really appreciate the compliments.
But I could probably learn from some criticisms...

Thank you!
I don't get stats so unless someone comments I have no idea it's even been read. Unless I upgrade to a "pro account".
