Just start reading, there is no shortcut to learning Photoshop or PP

1. Take book firmly in hand
2. Open to first page
3. Direct eyes to upper left corner of page
4. Slide eyes to right and process retrieved information
5. Repeat for each row and on each page

Ah! Thank you. Summer vacation from school and all, I'd forgotten. I'm so used to trying to help my kids with homework the logistics just ran away from me.

Can you elaborate on "process retrieved information"?

Well, crap.

I'm a natural blonde that's gone dark brunette. Was hoping for some artificial intelligence to understand such things. No luck so far.

Thanks for trying anyway, Bill.

If you mean dummy as in relating to you - as far as photoshop goes you're not alone. The Adobe website has a lot of help - videos etc and there are tons of books and videos. But there ain't no easy way pilgrim, it a real learning curve that seems to go on forever.

Then, just as you think you're getting the hang of it, all these people come along and tell you how great Lightroom is. So you start wondering - thinking this must be easier and you download it and buy the books to start learning how to use it. Then, just as you think you're getting somewhere, you realise there are things you must do in Photoshop.

So, you open your image in Photoshop and realise you have forgotten everything you've learn't about it. So you get your books and videos out again and restart the process. Then, you realise there must be something wrong with you, so you call your psychiatrist.

So, you're on the couch and the shrink is sitting beside you with notebook in hand while you start rambling on about learning Photoshop. The shrink immediately grabs his phone and dials . . . . .
