Default If you could go on assignment with anyone....

Lets take a break from reality for a few minutes...

If you could dive into the history books, or even the present books, and pic out people, either involved in Photography or not, and as it happens, alive or not, to head out on a full day assignment, who would it be with?

Richard Pryor - “Unfortunately, the show's success comes at the expense of its biggest asset -- the comedians themselves,” he would definetly keep you entertained.

Adolf Hitler - He probably wouldn't have such a bad name had he not annexed parts of Czechoslovakia, invaded Poland, Holland, Belgium, France, Eastern Europe and Russia to name but a few. Things weren't improved by his plans to exterminate anyone who didn't fit in to his view of the ideal, managing to dispose of 6 million Jews, Gypsies, Homosexuals, mentally handicapped and political opponents before the end of the Second World War. *Cough..I just think i you gave him a moder day DSLR and took him on an assignment, it could be interesting.

Shakira - Erm... purely for her interest in landscapes & so on, and on. Not for her desirable, eh, hair

Morihei Ueshiba- founder of Aikido. I want to witness how he perceived the world.

Charles Kuralt- I just liked the sound of his voice. I would have loved to have been a part of On the Road.

MaxHarvard- Just so I can steal some ideas!

My motives would be a bit different, I'd have HIM needing therapy by days end..

my choices:
Dana Delaney - just because
Big Fuzzy - he's a super hero who nabs bad guys and wears a mask
Obijuan - his photography is outstanding

just get a job as the white house press photographer. Apparently a pretty similar experience.

(apologies all round before this blows up in my face... but I just could not resist)

Yea, that would be cool. (couldn't resist)

As an old friend of mine told me, "Eric, I suggest that you talk to Jesus before you meet him in person"

I would have to take out Leonardo DaVinci. I would love to see what he would think of the technology behind a DSLR and the images he would get. We could bring along Michelangelo just to have some more fun...

Half of me wants Morgan Freeman and get him to narrate everything I was doing, the other half wants my dad so he can see that I turned out ok and to have a proper chat with him now that I lost all that teenage angst.
