Default How not to look like the new guy?

So... I have been invited by a good friend (pro) to join him for the day to test drive the latest Hasselblad range of cameras and digital backs on a full model shoot. I get to demo the kit myself (talking kit that costs more than my house, and I got a pretty nice place),top pro models, wardrobe, markup, hairstylists, the works. Profoto are also bringing along their latest and greatest lighting kit.

Are there any etiqutte tips when working on a pro shoot that might not be totally obvious.
I have done studio shoots, but nothing close to this level.

I am very excited but bloody nervous at the same time (to not look like a complete greenhorn)

Try not to trip over and smack you head on a light

I wish I could spend the day with a pro.

Slipping the models your business card with your home number handwritten on the back is unprofessional. Don't do that.

Have a look at images of older hasse models and read through the instruction manual to learn some stuff ahead of time.

We rented an H4D-40 for a billboard shoot and couldn't figure anything out at first. No one knew how to get the darn thing in M mode. I downloaded the manual and figured it out pretty fast.

So, maybe get an idea of how Hasse's are setup and you'll look like you know a bit about what you are doing.

A few suggestions:
Be confident but polite.
When you first arrive just ask "so how's this going to go?" They'll give you the basic "flow". That will tell you the etiquette (e.g. when it's "your turn"). It will also say "I know I'm not "supposed to know.""
You probably won't have a lot of time in any one situation, so accept that and realize you aren't going to get anything "perfect". Go for "basic idea" and be quick about it. Try a few lenses for what they are good for (e.g. longer lens for head shots, wide lens for unique angles up close, etc) . Don't "study" every pic you take. This is not a "photo shoot", it's a hands-on familiarization/testing.
I don't know if you'll need to bring your own CF cards to keep your work (in case you get lucky). And, yeah, get an idea of how the hasselblad's work.

Don't drop the demo camera or you might be selling your house.

Don't drool on the camera or the models.

Remember to take the lens cap off.

(Said because at every single client session, I do forget this and don't notice till I look through the viewfinder for the first shot. It's become a bizarre trademark of mine. I've recently dyed my hair from natural blonde to a very dark brunette, hoping for some artificial intelligence. Hasn't happened. )

ETA: If I had the opportunity to shoot with someone using that kind of equipment, I'd probably also invest in some adult diapers for myself.
