Default How do you self-portrait

Well, for my social media accounts I'm trying to think up ideas for self-portraits. Really the main thing I do is put the camera on the tripod with a timer. I really can't think of anything else.

What have you done to be creative?

Put your most expensive lens on your camera, take a picture in the bathroom mirror, then add some lens flare in Photoshop.

Set timer on camera.
Put camera on tripod as high as tripod will go.
Point camera towards floor.
Put hand in front of camera about where head will be to set Auto Focus.
Turn off Auto Focus, and press shutter.
Grab one cat.
Grab two cat. ( 20lb fat bastard of a cat )
Quickly sit down in focal range of camera.
Hold both cat's on either side of face, and smile big.
Click, camera goes off.
Let go of squirming cats.
Stand on tipy toes like dumbass trying to see the screen, then realize, it can come off tripod.
Yay! You managed to take a blurry photo of your smiling mug, and two cats that were trying to get away from you the entire time.

( The above story is of true events. If you decide to try this, beware of the claws of the cats. )
(( This was before I had my remote release ))

LOL, that gave me a good laugh! Poor cats.
I always either use the timer on my camera, or take my picture in a mirror. When I do it in a mirror, I turn the flash of, then I crop the camera out of the picture on the computer.

I have a method but it involves whirling a bloody chicken at midnight and skipping my meds.
