Had a thought of having a dedicated case for just lenses. Any pros or cons I should consider ?? Brands and models that work for you ??
Looking to handle 6 lenses now, maybe up to 8. Was thinking of having the dedicated for travel & transport, then pull the expected lenses in a daypack if doing landscape hiking or the like. Thanks, Brad |

I just use large shoulder bags to store my lenses.
You will need more than one if you have large lenses.. It really doesn't matter what brand. The only thing is I never use them for transport or travel. I usually just take what I need for a day/weekend/vacation in a back pack/smaller shoulder bag/harness, depending on the shoot. If I was transporting a large number of lenses I would be looking at one of the roller style of bags. However I would be very worried about the security of it whilst doing a landscape or nature hike when when I didn't have it with me.

I use a pelican 1514 (1510 w/ padded divider) with accessory lid organizer as my primary "work out of case". For airline travel I can leave a lens or two (or flashes etc) behind and fit the body in the case if I choose.
