Default Print Paper

There are choices of metallic, luster, matte, glossy, Giclée, etc. What paper works best for different types of shots?

Honestly, it's a question more suited to individual photographs and what kind of feeling you like between them.

You may discover that some kinds of paper are good for some colors or textures - but that's usually a bit more paper (and ink) specific. It's so much a personal choice, and so dependent upon the image being printed - that I won't even try to generalize types of photography with types of paper. (Hint - and the final "look" also depends upon the light in the room that the print is being displayed in, as well as if the print is behind glass or not)
