Thought I had already posted this thread but now cannot find it !!
I am having a problem when I upload photos from my camera via CS4 Uploader. For a start the CR2 icon is shown not my photos then when I "get photos" Bridge will not convert them to DNG. I have downloaded the latest DNG converter as well as Camera Raw 5.7 which I believe is the latest version for CS4. When I go into CR it shows version 5.7. When I go to Bridge or PS Camera Raw preferences it shows version 5.0. I have tried all I know and am now at my wits end!! I would have thought that 5.7 should be shown each time or am I wrong. Any help or advice would be very welcome. Thanks |

What camera are the files from?
If it is a newish camera older versions Adobe software (like CS4) may not support it.

A manual installation may help.
This is the read.me file. http://www.adobe.com/special/photosh...5.7_ReadMe.pdf.

Please, you think they don't know that regular people can't afford PS? They make most of their money from businesses that buy commercial PS licenses.

That is what I have already done to no effect. I am sure it is something simple that I am not doing but cannot find what. It will not convert CR2 to DNG and will only show the CR2 icon in the uploader not thumbnails.
Thanks for your help in anyway!! |
