Started with a Pentax SLR and continued with a Pentax DSLR. Still use all my old lenses. As soon as I get another full-time job, I'd like to upgrade to another model Pentax.

I never had any interest in photography nor did I think I had or would have any aptitude or skill in this area. A few years back, a fellow sports mom started bringing her camera around to our kids games and practices. She took some amazing shots and I was fascinated. I peppered her with questions and decided that I wanted to do what she was doing, EXACTLY. So I bought the exact same camera she had (Sony A330). She had done a lot of research on price and ease of use for a hobbyist/beginner and I admired her shots.
That was 3 years ago. I still own and use the camera and have sunk myself somewhat deeply into the Sony realm. I have 5 or 6 lenses (2 kit and 3 post kit purchase) and shoot just about every sports event my kids participate in. My shots have landed in our local paper for the last couple of months at the rate of about 2/week. The dilemma is, I need to either upgrade my Sony (only 10.2 mp and w/o "press pass" type access to some of my kids games, I need to crop a lot and poor sensor performance in low light) or sell and switch to another camera family. Decisions, decisions.....
