Default Thank you note,

I'm a photographer not a graphic designer and i was wondering if I could get some ideas.

A few weeks ago a nuclear engineer gave a free "talk" to me and a couple of friends. and I got stuck with the thank you note.

Anyone have ideas for the front, AKA a pic or something. something quick and dirty that I could cook up in GIMP or Inkscape? I was thinking like a atom or something like that, but I have NO idea how to make that.

Thanx

Ha! The first thing that popped into my mind was a mushroom, but I think you'd have to be pretty sure of their sense of humour before sending that!

I'm not familiar with drawing in GIMP but I'm sure there must be some way of creating conjoined bubbles for the nucleus and ellipses with blobs on for electron rings.
