Default How did you choose your screen name?

I'm just curious how everyone decided on their screen name, and for those that have it, their business name.

I LOVE natural light photography, so much so that our family photos this year were taken at 7:30 am, the first light of morning. I've never been a "morning person", but I love this golden hour, and that is why I chose the moniker First Light.

my screen name is just my favorite song - Mr Jones by the counting crows
as for my business name it's just my name so that was easy to come up with.

Mine is quite old and goes back to early myspace days for me in which I would debate with the painfully religious. Izzy is short for Isegoria, which translates to "equality in freedom of speech"

Mine goes way back - before I was ever on the Internet. The nespaper I was working for had just put a brand new Mac on my desk (one of those little square jobbies!) and I decided to name it for myself - and came up with Madeditor - a play on Mad Hatter and my chosen profession. Once I began to go online, it was a clear choice for a handle. Since then every computer I have ever worked on or owned has had its own name. Currently, my home computer (rather than being My Computer) is Hal 4.

Mine is from years ago too. It was my email address thing from back around 2004. It's spelled incorrectly, because yahoo wouldnt take the correct spelling. I've recently updated my main address to something more civilized. If I could change my name on here, without creating a new account, I would.

Mine name came from another screen name I have, 1hotmess, which came from, no matter what I try to do, it turns into a hotmess. So I changed the name a little by putting the s to make it 1shotmess.
