Default Well, this is something new...anybody wants a compensation for Nigeria scams?

I usually get the regular type of Nigerian scam e-mails (when they occasionally slip through the spam guard), but I got something new today:

Quote:
How are you today?
The below payment has been awarded to you by the
Nigeria Government/World Bank to compensate you on the past
experience had with the Nigeria scammers.

I write to inform you that we have already sent you $10,000.00
through Western Union as we have been given the mandate to transfer
your full compensation payment total sum of $250,000.00 via Western
Union by the Government.

I have on a good authority email you the MTCN and sender's
details to enable you pick up the first $10,000.00,USD and confirm
receipt to us so as to enable us wire the next USD10,000.00 by tomorrow and
subsequent ones since we can only send USD10,000.00 a day.
It looks like we'll have plenty for our gear.

I suggest you write back to them using a fake address (Fairly easy in Yahoo) and ask them for the MCTN.. See how long you can string them along.. I joined 419Eater a while ago but so far haven't managed to lead any scammers into my lair..

LoL.. It's makes me look forward to the next Scam mail I get though!

I'm not really in the mood to pursue that. I just hit the spam button so they don't bother me any more.

I drive them crazy. I copy emails from others, paste and send it to the next person. Infact, I have about 100 dumbass friends who were robbed in England and lost everything except their passport and need money to fly home or pay for hotel. Tuff shit I say! They should have gotten American Express Checks.

Yeah, give them a taste of their own medicine, Jim. I saw another variation of the scam on that show 1000 Ways to Die. The scammer had a briefcase full of US currency, but the bills all had a black stains all over them. He met the victim in a hotel room and told him the money had to be dyed so they could smuggle the bills into this country (any red flags yet?). The victim paid the scammer his "import fee" and left the room. However, the victim rubbed the black stain off more bills and found out most of the bills were blank pieces of paper. The enraged victim started pounding on the scammer's room door, demanding his money back. Here is where it gets good. The scammer hid behind the door, so when the victim kicked the door open the door swung in towards the scammer and the coat hook on the inside of the door pieced the scammers eyeball and caused massive brain damage, killing him almost instantly. What a cool show!

BTW, I'm still waiting for my check from Bill Gates for forwarding all those emails years ago...

I had a friend get a Nigerian scam letter in the mail last week. Real mail. Like.. the kinda mail where you go to a little box and pick out a piece of paper. I think the scammers are regressing. Next they're just going to be sending out SOS smoke signals.
