Default Need some help with future purchase:

Hey guys,

Alright, so I'm about to order my Nikon D90 in a week or less. I plan on getting a 50mm 1.8 with it. I know that will be a 75mm since it's not full frame but I also own a 20-35mm 2.8 currently. I'm hoping to shoot portraits/street photography mostly. Is there another lens that I should look about picking up? I have about $300 extra to spend if I get the 50mm, however I am open to suggestions!

Thank you.

I have the 50mm 1.8 which I use quite often for indoor portrait work, but I also have the 85mm 1.4 which I use almost always when shooting portraits outdoors where I have more room. I LOVE that lens.

Default lens options

i have the d90 (love it) and the 50 1.8 i have issues with the lens i actually have to send it into nikon... i have done many searches on the lens being soft is among many forums.. if i had to do over i again i would get the 84 1.8 all the reviews say that it is a gorgeous portrait lens and if you have 300$ after you purchase the 50 then you could get the 85 instead of the 50( it is going for a little over 400.)

Ill definitely check into the 85mm (1.4 or 1.8, whichever is more into my budget) since you both recommended it, thanks I forgot to mention I will also have a 20mm f/2.8 as well that my dad is giving me. Thank you

I'm looking to sell some used equipment to B&H and Adorama as well, do they require the user manuals with the equipment, or do they not require that, if anyone would know
