I am new here and I do not have any gear except for a Kodak 12.2 digital camera. I have always been interested in photography and work with what I got. I am lucky living close to the Indiana Dunes and that is where most of my inspiration comes from.

Welcome to DPS. Doesn't matter what you shoot, as long as you shoot! This is a great place to learn - there are some pretty knowleageable people around here. See ya around!

Welcome to DPS. I hope you find us helpful. As for the camera it really does not matter what you shoot so long as you do shoot. It is not about the gear it is about what you do with it.

Here is a great set I found on flickr that was done with a camera phone.

Dont let your gear or lack thereof keep you from finding creativity. Hope the link inspires you.

Welcome to DPS! If you have testicular fortitude you'll do just fine. I kid, I kid. But seriously,..........

Not to hijack the thread of anything, but for the link that Izzy posted, the shopping center in the first page, I look at it and think, " Was it our tax dollars that built it, or Afghani money? How long will it be there before it gets blown up?" I mean, we are at war there.

Ok, you can have your thread back now. Just had to throw that out there.
