Question Full Format Lens

Can you use a full frame lens on a digital formatted camera with a cmos sensor?

I know for canon the answer is yes, and I think Nikon works the same.
you can't however use a lens that's designed for a crop on a full frame.

cmos is a technology, not a size. There are tiny p&s sensors that use cmos, APS-C sensors that use cmos and full frame sensors that use cmos. Another sensor type is ccd which is more expensive and is being phased out.

But to answer the question you were trying to ask, yes. Especially with Pentax. You can use every lens pentax has every made on their current cameras. All those old wonderful film lenses (full frame) work fantastic on the current crop sensors cameras.
