Now these are just ideas. You sent me a message and I am all for your idea for the hosting. I am open for any ideas right now. I think if we all work together on this it can be a reality.

Anyone?
Let me give this some more thought...the gmail think would be great for recieving entries, however most ISP's have a file size limit that can be sent ( usually 10mb) which would pose a problem as most wouldn't be able to email the RAW file, so I'm thinking FTP would be the way to go, obviosly FTP has it's own set of issues security wise..server space shouldn't be a problem if only storing 1 raw file and a bunch of jpegs....give me a bit to run this through my hollow head, the lightbulb is sure to go off at some point

We play a game similar to this in one of my Flickr groups. Someone posts a photo (with an off-site link to the RAW file) or just download the jpeg. You edit any way you choose then re-post your edited version listing what program you used and the steps you took. You have to complete this within a certain time frame, normally a few days. When the 'editing challenge' ends, a voting stage begins, again with a few days given to vote. The votes are counted and the winner is the next one to post a new photo. Its a great way to hone your skills and to get ideas from other people.

Google Documents might be the answer
I think that can handle uploads of files up to one gig.
Also - with a shareable password multiple people can reach the account...

This might work for the distribution of the single RAW edit of the week. But the getting the files to the right people (who ever they will be) is the problem right now.
