Default Fixing crappy photos

For those who take crappy out of focus pictures can save them. Fix focus here, add an action there, photoshop some crap out and now truly anybody can be a good photographer! Sarcasm aside, this is pretty cool.http://www.nytimes.com/2011/06/22/te...y/22camera.htm

Neat but I hate advances like these. I have wondered if it could be done and I guess the answer is yes. This is yet another piece of cr@p to the arsenal of arguments why people should not pay pros to do their craft. I don't know about other people but it sure makes me in the art community mad.

Chock one more up to "that camera takes great pictures"

My first though, but then I thought of WB, background, blown channels, connection with your subject, framing, diagonals, passion to be the best etc etc. Professionals are pro for a reason - not because they have a good camera!

We are not doomed

"I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!" Now, I want everyone to go to their window, open it and yell, ""I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!"

My neighbors called the cops on me! Told them they were scared I was going to go into a shooting rampage.
