Default Where can I get this?

Does anyone know of a place where I can get blank discs (CDs or DVDs) made that have my logo and some information printed on this disc? Like, how music CDs and movie DVDs have graphics and information printed on the top part of the disc but the disc itself would be blank, writable, with no data. Does this make sense? I am not even sure how to word what I am looking for so that I can do a proper google search.

Oh darn, this maybe should have went in a different forum area. Sorry, you can move it if you need to.

You can buy printable disks and with a Epson Artisan 835 you would put the disk in and print your logo and information directly to the disk.

If your computer is equipped with Lightscribe, thats kinda what that program does.

http://www.lightscribe.com/

Other than that, there's also programs that you can get where you just print a label and stick it to it.

CD Label Maker - AudioLabel CD DVD Labeler - CD Label Software

Direct CD/DVD Printing - Print Labels Directly on Blank Discs with Epson Printers - Epson America, Inc.

Default cds

You can get discs with printing on them made, but with out printing a large quantity of disks, the price is not worth it. And by large quantity I mean 5000 or more. Lightscribe is the cheap and easy way to go for the most common things. But if you still want to do it, you can check here...

Diversified Systems Group, Inc. - Media & Services - Silkscreening

or here...

High Quality CD Printing Services
this place charges around $1.29 each for an order of 300, plus shipping.

Okay, I just checked and none of our dvd burners can use lightscribe. I don't have a good printer at home either, just a black and white laser. Hmmm. Any other thoughts or suggestions?

I was about to say that or you might want to check at a Staples or Office Depot. Maybe they can do that for you. You purchase the blank CD/DVD and have them print you logo on them.
Just a thought.

That's a good idea. I am going to contact my local print shop, maybe they can do it in the quantity that I want.

Plenty of places which will do what you want.. Quick chat with Uncle Google found these people for starters:

CD Printing Services

Personally I use an Epson R265. Does the job very well.

I've used lightscribe for years, it is pretty awesome, but the perceived quality of printed direct to disc is much much better, I'm on the hunt for a printer that will support it as we speak
