Default Forums, Blogs, Facebook and more Tweets!

There are so many good forums, blogs, etc. on the web, how can you find time to ever take pics?
I set down at the computer to work on some photos and end up spending the time reading.

Hell, I have a small Twitter account and I can spend hours just checking out out the links there.

Talk about info overload. Is this what the Bing commercials are all about.

I instituted a "screen-free" Friday policy in our home. I was finding my whole family sitting in the same room, the TV going, and everyone on computers and cell phones all the time, not talking to each other at all. The rules are simple: if it has a screen, it's turned off from Friday morning until Saturday morning. That includes TV, computers, and cell phones. There was lots of protest at first, but now I find we get excited for Friday to come. We play games, bake and cook, go for hikes, anything the doesn't involve a screen. The only exception is the LCD on the camera, since we all have one and go out shooting together almost every week.
It's been great for our family, and I personally find it incredibly refreshing to take a break from all the technology.

This is a really good idea! I've always said that when I have kids, their TV and video game time will be limited. And they will be required to read no less than one book a month as soon as theyre old enough to read.

Amen! I get stuck in the endless maze of links on there. I always end up on articles that are completely irrelevant to what I was searching to begin with.

Last night, in about a minute and a half, I went from learning more about Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, to finding out that the record price for a single Blue Fin Tuna is $396,000 US. I didn't need to know that, but I'm prepared now, just in case.
