Tennessee has just passed a law making it illegal to post images that frighten, intimidate, or cause emotional distress. Tenn. law bans posting images that "cause emotional distress"
While I suspect the law won't stand up to constitutional muster, I'm wondering what manner of distressing images might be fodder for the test case: HDR, selective color, fake retro? Last edited by dakwegmo; 06-15-2011 at 03:26 PM. |

My girlfriend said I woke up from a dead sleep the other night when they were talking about this on the news, and yelled at the TV, saying something like "EVERY PHOTO EVER TAKEN WILL PROBABLY DISTRESS SOMEONE........ DUMBASSES!" She said I drifted right back to sleep after giving her a heart attack. I have no recollection of this.

Brought to you by the legislative body that legalized the taking and eating of road kill. Now that is frightening and causes emotional distress
