Default Free wedding photos...advice on limiting use.

I attended my sister's wedding over the weekend, at the beach. I knew I was going to be expected to take some candids at the reception. Her package didn't include reception pics, only ceremony and family shots afterwards, and she had already asked if I would take some. I didn't even pull out my camera after the ceremony, one because of the blowing wind and sand, and two, out of respect for the pro.
I took a few pictures at the reception I really liked. I showed them to my sister the next day on my ipad, and she seemed pleased. I want to do some post on them before giving them to her.
Here's my only issue... Now everyone wants a CD with my pictures, I assume to print out and give to friends and use on facebook, probably to include in albums, etc. etc. My father even said, before I left, "why don't we run down to walmart, buy some CDs and you can make copies for everyone and give them out at the morning-after brunch!" seriously, with no post? I told him no, that I shot in Raw, and he wouldn't be able to read them anyway.
I don't want my pictures "screwed with"... Vignettes, Selective Color, etc.,etc.
It's not that I'm afraid of my name being besmirched, or that I have a reputation to uphold, but I don't want them thinking "free" means free-for-all on my pictures.

So... Should I include some type of "limits of use" wording with the CD, like, "print all you want and use on facebook, but don't go screwing around editing them",
Or should I just suck it up and give them the CD and forget about it.

My favorite option is choice three: open a zenfolio account and try to recoup some of the money I spent going to the damn wedding, where the only thanks I got was, "what, you didn't take any shots of the family on the beach? I'm going to have to pay for those..."
Ten hour drive one way, four days dealing with relatives, new clothes....did I mention dealing with relatives? Plus, I'm going to spend a good deal of time on post work on some of my favorites. Should I really put that much effort into freebies?

If it were me, I'd get some nice ones printed out for my sister - even put them in an album for her if you like your sister that much. May be copies for Mum and Dad.
As to the other rellies, make 'em pay.

I like that idea.... That way she gets freebies, and I can tell her "don't go scanning these and handing them out, thats illegal". Mom and dad on both sides would have to have them, but sisters, brothers, etc... I was getting upset giving away all that work for free, plus if I give out one cd, she'll just copy it.

This is your sister, right? I'd say go pretty light with the "don't do anything illegal" message. The universe of people who'd conceivably be interested in getting their hands on these pictures is mainly made up of people you're going to see every year at Thanksgiving & Christmas, so it's probably not worth making a big stink about it in the long run. Chalk it up to a wedding present.

Of course I wasnt going to say bluntly what I put in my post...
Actually other than sis and my own parents, I don't really care about any of the rest of them. And with everyone living so far away from each other (ohio, florida, several parts of south carolina)... I doubt I will see them. Some of them I hope I DONT see again. I do like the printed album for a present. Maybe I should give her that - and keep the $50 worth of towels I got, for myself.

it's your sister's wedding.
go and edit the photos then go out and buy some CD's and give her some copies to hand out.
making the relatives pay? it's family!
I wouldn't be too worried about others editing your photos.. I'm sure they just want memories from the wedding.
not every picture you take needs to turn into cash.
sometimes it's better to give a little for free.. and get the big cash of future orders.

but that's my opinion.. and I know people here get pretty freaked out when it comes to copyrights.

Just put "No third party" rights granted without the photographers permission. that means friends of friends that you sister gave the cd's too can copy, print or post online the photos with your permission.
